How to Calculate Necessary Restrooms for a Restaurant

Many restaurant owners often find themselves confused about the quantity of restrooms required during the initial planning phase. Some restaurants, despite having a large seating area, may only need one restroom, while others with fewer seats might be required to install two or more. Additionally, certain pizza shops or takeout restaurants may not need to provide any restrooms. The following briefly outlines the process and techniques for determining the number of restrooms for small to medium-sized restaurants (1000-2000 sq. ft.) during the planning phase.
